I had a chance to see Tom Ford's directorial debut A Single Man over the weekend and all I can say is that it left me speechless. It's painfully beautiful: between the nuanced and concise screenplay and intense performances by Colin Firth (!), Matthew Goode (!!) and Julianne Moore (omg) I left the film totally devastated and happy all at once. And yeah, it was all TOM FORD'S idea.
